Dr. Jeff Karp is a leader in drug delivery, stem cell therapeutics, and medical devices. He is a Professor of medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Principal Faculty at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute, and an affiliate faculty at the Broad Institute and at the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology.
Dr. Karp has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers, has given more than 275 national and international invited lectures, and has been named an inventor on more than 100 issued or pending patents. Several of his technologies have formed the foundations for products that are already on the market or under development and have been used to launch multiple companies. Dr. Karp Received his BENG in Chemical Engineering from McGill University and his Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Toronto. He performed postdoctoral research in stem cells and advanced biomaterials at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
